Openers are a network of clever creatives in Aotearoa. We use our skills in design, content creation, communications strategy and project management to tell your story. A bespoke team is assembled around your project needs and together we deliver competitive, creative excellence.
Reinvesting the margin
The overheads we save by not having offices and paying for lighting, furniture, coffee machines, stationary, biscuits, water coolers, parking spaces, travel etc. is reinvested in a for-purpose fund. Non-profits can register their creative projects with us, we price them and when the fund meets the price tag, we assemble a team and get to work.
People & Planet
Openers value the flexibility that remote working offers. (It helps us be on time for school pick-ups). We also want connection with like-minded folk, and Opener creates opportunities for inspiring collaborations with a focus on the greater good. By nature, we care about people and planet and want to reduce emissions and energy use by not commuting or leasing extra office space.
Openers are all over Aotearoa. We’re videographers, copywriters, photographers, project managers, designers, brand experts, digital marketers, website designers, CX specialists, animators, sound engineers. Openers are purpose-driven independent creatives. (You may already know some of us!)
We are here
Operational funding for design and communications is a huge short-fall for non-profits. It means they find it difficult to be seen and heard. Our buddy system is an additional option to go above and beyond and help a cause you care about.
Clients can choose to sponsor one of our registered non-profit projects, such as the design of a pitch deck or impact report. By buddying with a non-profit to get their job done, you can help them raise their voice and purpose. It is a tangible way to make a difference and we publicly acknowledge those who take up the buddy system.
